        Verdict

        Vanishing Point posted a much better effort when second at Bath but that may have been down to the soft ground and and a similar comment applies to Goodwood runner-up Beauty Sleep. DESERT WAY was expected to do better over 1m2f at Goodwood last time but could only manage fourth. This longer trip should suit and she gets a tentative vote. Steely Rock and Ya Jammeel are others likely to improve for the extra distance while the newcomer Autumn Surprise has a pedigree packed with stamina and could go well.
