Verdict
MEADOWCROFT BOY was narrowly beaten in a qualifier for this final over track and trip last month. Alistair Whillans’ charge is fancied to confirm running with Bahrikate, a close-up third, as he also beat Susan Corbett's charge when winning at Kelso earlier when Craig Star unseated. The latter looked beaten at the time while Pistol and Jet Master are others with plenty to find with the selection. Jet Master had earlier won at Perth with Dakota Grey well behind but Lough Kent may prove a bigger threat on an earlier double at Cartmel.
