Verdict

LADY OF THE HOUSE finished runner-up at Thirsk last time with the re-opposing Smallbrook Lane behind and Kevin Ryan's filly is fancied to go one better with further progress expected. She's preferred to stablemate Roland though Pippy should finish closer on decent ground after floundering in the mud at Chester on his debut. Denbigh Raur and Lady Ibrox have some improving to do if they're to figure in the finish and newcomer Dark Opal makes little appeal on breeding.
