Mandalay King has been in good form of late, winning three of his last four starts, and Marjorie Fife's gelding can further extend that sequence, getting the verdict ahead of Nawaaff and Ursus. The last mentioned has been in good form of late but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for his wins at Redcar and Newcastle and he now looks too high in the weights. Recent Times remains a maiden and looks best watched at present, while Flight Plan ran creditably in a seller at Nottingham last time but this looks tougher. Feeling Fresh has more to do under his penalty than when winning at Haydock last time and of more interest may be Mick Channon's Nawaaff, who has run consistently well of late. Mandalay King has solid claims on recent form though and is taken to win again.
