Verdict
EDMUND looked a nice prospect when scoring at Newcastle in December and was travelling easily when coming to grief after an 8lb rise on a return visit last month. Compensation awaits here though Cooldine Run has to be respected after a facile victory over three rivals at Southwell where he was hardly out of a canter. Pamak D'Airy is in very good shape at present and still reasonably treated compared to his hurdles form and Tony Kelly's claim should ensure he gets involved. Peachey Moment has dropped a long way in the ratings but still looks too high judging on recent runs, a remark that also applies to Rocking Blues, who was beaten 19l into second last time.
