        Verdict

        Gamesome finally notched a second success on his 50th career start and it will be fascinating to see if victory has strengthened confidence and belief in the Midgely 8-y-o. He's up 3lb for the win but the suspicion remains that sooner or later this term BLACK SALT will get his head in front after a trio of recent praiseworthy efforts. Like Gamesome, he'll be held up for a late charge and today may just be his day as he drops to 5f. He'll need a strong pace to run at but that appears highly likely. Suwaan has every chance if able to replicate a much better run last time when third at Ayr, whilst Debawtry and David's Beauty also have a shout in an open sprint.
