    Verdict

Camden George and Fortysecond Street are the most experienced chasers, but look likely to find at least a couple of today's less exposed rivals too good. Honest John makes his chasing bow after a lengthy absence, but Aikman shaped well enough on his debut over fences at this track last month. A Grade 2 winning hurdler at Haydock, Cross Kennon will be popular on his first start over the larger obstacles, but SARANDO is preferred. His close second in the Mildmay Novices' Chase at Aintree in April looks even stronger form now given the winner, Quito De La Roque, has proved to be a high-class chaser and Paul Webber's charge has a recent pipe-opener on the Flat under his belt.
