In depth

Verdict

WELL ABOVE PAR won this last year off today’s mark when the race was open to better horses. His form tailed off after that but he might be the type to catch when he’s fresh. Glittering Love also won at the track last season but that was over 3m2f, though he’ll handle conditions. Big Changes is on a steep upward curve but he’s yet to sparkle on going as soft as this whereas Without Conviction’s only victory so far has come on heavy ground. Uptown Harry may be best of the rest.
