Verdict
Wolf Shield's second to King Of The Wolds at Newcastle was a cracking first effort and One For Harry also only found one too good at Ayr, though was beaten 12 lengths. The latter's trainer, Nicky Richards, complicates matters here by also saddling debutant Pointless while Shuh Shuh Gah and Scarlet Ruby are other newcomers worth noting in the betting. SNUKER is another having his first start but there is plenty of stamina in his pedigree, being by Snurge out of a Roselier mare. He gets a tentative vote as James Ewart has his string in good order and Brian Hughes is a positive jockey booking in a race like this.
