Verdict

Four recent winners take to the stage, of which Invictus may not be ideally suited by forecast ground conditions and Table Manners seems to relish the challenge of Tapeta at Newcastle on a regular basis. In contrast, both GEORDIE GEORGE and Im Dapper Too have course wins to their name and handle soft ground with aplomb, with the Menzies inmate only narrowly preferred. The ex-French gelding is likely to be held up for a late challenge and can hopefully repeat the successful tactics employed here last time when a neat turn of foot put matters to bed. Im Dapper Too is a big threat though as he is two from two around here and still looks well treated off a mark of 62.
