    Verdict

Mondlicht looked as though this sort of trip would suit when a close third over 2m1f here last weekend and it will be a surprise if he does not go close. PIXIEPOT has definitely improved since stepping up to this trip and would have finished closer at Market Rasen but for an early blunder. The Peter Niven mare looks the one to be on here. Courtlands Prince showed improved form when runner up at Wincanton on his final start in February but will need more from top weight here while Triumph Davis, the only distance winner in the field, has been badly out of form. Baywing was only biding his time over hurdles and though getting plenty of allowances he will do better over fences.
