Verdict
STOPPED OUT has already had six starts over fences and finished second in four of those races, including once over course and distance. The grey has won on the Flat this year and, though a bit more exposed than some of these, he's fancied to get his head in front for the time over the larger obstacles today as he evidently retains plenty of enthusiasm. Ifandbutwhynot has a similar rating to the selection over hurdles but lacks a recent run and 2m4f on heavy ground may tax his stamina. Back To Bracka was second over hurdles here last month and should well over fences, however, while Sir Mangan was pitched in at the deep end at Aintree. He only got as far as the third but is capable of better.
