    Verdict

    Highcastle was placed at Chester on his debut for new connections but is conceding plenty of weight to the younger horses including AMBER STAR. David O’Meara’s filly was in contention until fading in the final furlong over today’s trip at Thirsk and any further progress should see her off the mark in this company. The remaining trio have yet to show any worthwhile form though Key Choice never recovered after stumbling at Ripon last time and this longer trip may suit.
