Verdict

Lake Chini looks better handicapped on the all-weather at present but there are certainly possibilities about Tournedos, who won over C&D at the end of last month and was a decent third at Beverley last time. In between those runs, however, he finished some way adrift of DOC HAY at Hamilton and Keith Dalgleish's gelding can confirm that form here, despite less favourable terms. Only lightly-raced, there may be more to come from the four-year-old who is also taken to get the better of Hamilton runner-up Sharp Bullet again. Beauty Pageant also looked much improved when scoring on her reappearance at Thirsk and looks a danger, however, while Silvanus has claims on his third to Hinton Admiral at Pontefract.
