    Verdict

Rhymers Stone was improving when last seen in the spring but is probably a few pounds too high now. Astaroland might need this having not run since July of last year but stablemate Mick The Poser gets all the allowances and Newstart won at Kelso last month and is only 3lb higher. Idder kept on for pressure when third in a better race here 18 days ago but MEADOWCROFT BOY is still thrown in on past form having got back to winning ways at Kelso, despite an 8lb rise.
