Despite still showing signs of inexperience, Harrisons Promise won easily at Wetherby but now has a penalty and finished behind DERRIANA SPIRIT (NAP) at Kelso last month. From last year’s winning stable, it would be no surprise to see the Flemensfirth filly go one better and cap a good day for trainer and jockey. Birch Vale improved on her first two runs when second at Wetherby but would probably need more. Paper Promise was a 33/1 chance when runner-up at Kelso in May and hasn’t been seen since but Lily's Gem is worth a market check. She is Flat bred and Stuart Crawford sent out the winner of this in 2016.
