        Verdict

        Newmarket raider Dylanesque is sure to be popular and it's a feather in James Sullivan's cap that Michael Jarvis has sought to employ his services but she still only has a maiden victory to her name and has been climbing the handicap ratings in defeat. Elusive Sue has plenty to prove at this trip, Battlemaiden has been struggling for form and Salerosa has reserved her best for Southwell in recent months. Who's Shirl promises to stay this far and, at least, comes here in form but her two victories have been achieved over six furlongs at Newcastle so preference is for AMETHYST DAWN who may be a shade high in the weights but is versatile with regard to underfoot conditions, hails from a yard in form and is proven over both the course and distance.
