Verdict

A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and the market may give some clues, but the principals look to be I'm The Decider, Harry Wood and Bretton Woods and the narrow vote is given to Harry Wood. The selection was a fair third behind Marleybow last time out, and he looks sure to be suited by this stiffer track. His yard are beginning to find their form he looks the one to be on. I'm The Decider rates the main danger on his debut third behind Keki Buku. He looks sure to improve for this longer trip and should be watched in the market. Bretton Woods was behind the selection in a bumper and although he could improve for the switch to hurdles, he may need the run after a 272-day break. Jemez showed promise in a bumper and is another that should improve so he is worth monitoring in the market. Quws Law is a bumper and point winner and is another with place claims, but in a race where few can be ruled out, we will stick with Harry Wood to lead them home.
