      Verdict

The handicapper has given a chance to all three of the previous course and distance winners. WILLING TO PLEASE appears to be the best treated of the trio on placed efforts at Pontefract and Hamilton this year, though needs forgiving a poor effort here latest. Royal Prospect, who will strip fitter for a run at Redcar, may be next best but a case can also be made for Beverley runner-up Floral Splendour, who drops down a grade, and last month’s Wetherby third Cloch Nua.
