In depth

Verdict

Morning Spirit has run in better company since scoring over the track and trip but Post Chaise has won two Class 5's and takes a step-up in grade from 9lb higher. He's on the upgrade and should get into contention though winning hurdler LORD ROCO has been narrowly beaten in all three starts over fences, the last two in this class, and can get off the mark. He holds Destiny Is All on his latest run but Tile Tapper's last two runs have been at a higher level and he's respected along with Wowsham, who made a promising start over fences at Newcastle. Dog Of War won three novice handicaps in 2021 and was returning from a very long break when well beaten at Kempton ten days ago.
