Verdict

Battle Of Toro won twice on the Flat in France and stayed 1m6f so could be a useful acquisition for Jimmy Moffatt. Gold Emery won an Irish point in December and Donald McCain has done so well with similar types that he warrants the utmost respect. Ritson has shown ability but was disappointing last time at Newcastle. HELTENHAM burst a blood vessel on his UK debut in a race at Lingfield in November which has produced a host of subsequent winners. He still has time on his side and should handle conditions here.
