Verdict

Croeso Cymraeg is penalised for winning at Ripon and this looks more competitive. El Picador has won twice at Musselburgh this year but doesn’t have anything in hand on EMARATY HERO on the form book. Grant Tuer’s charge is also better off than when just behind Shake A Leg at Doncaster in April and the likely strong pace here will play to his strengths. Strawman beat Detective over 1m1f here last August but the latter, who is also a course specialist, should reverse that form over this longer trip. Ayr winner Grand Canal has something to find with a few of these while My Little Queens is upped in trip. Highwaygrey is well handicapped nowadays but is best over 1m2f while Chepstow scorer Commonsensical couldn’t cope with another 5lb at Ripon.
