In depth
Verdict
DOC CARVER was having his first start after wind surgery when scoring at Chepstow. He just prevailed over a subsequent winner with the rest nowhere though the third has also won since and Henry Oliver’s charge is preferred on that form to the other recent winner Budarri. The latter should figure again after scoring at Newcastle last month and beating the re-opposing Mumgos Debut in the process but Divine Port has been beaten since winning over track and trip in December though still ran well in third. Chain Of Beacons looks best of the remainder on the back of placed efforts at Musselburgh.
