          Verdict

          Club Wexford arrives in fine form bidding for a hat-trick under a penalty after winning a higher grade contest at Ayr. But stablemate TADAAWOL won the consolation race for this on last year’s card and, after beating The Navigator and Lamloom over track and trip last month, Roger Fell’s charge gets the vote raised only 2lb. Lamloom represents last year’s winning yard having won over 7f at Ayr recently while Mount Ararat won a novices' race over a longer trip here last time. Brother McGonagall scored easily at Beverley earlier in the month but has been raised 10lb while Star Of Southwold has recorded all three wins so far over 1m2f. Saisons D'Or missed out on a treble when second at Thirsk last time but is not out of this.
