Verdict
Hometown Boy and Alaphilippe have very long absences to overcome. GOOD RISK AT ALL (NAP) is having a first run since April but won on his reappearance at this meeting last year over hurdles and looks the type to make a chaser. Conditions will certainly aid his cause. Giovinco, 3-3 under Rules and a points winner earlier, will have his supporters and should also do well in this sphere and Curley Finger was a consistent sort over timber last season. Shighness has a decent strike-rate but Swallows Song was beaten a long way on his chasing bow at Kelso.
