    Verdict

The opener could prove to be a two horse race against Grand Opera and Zaal with the vote going to the last named. Zaal improved from his debut to finish an eye catching second at York last time out only beaten half a length and if reproducing the same level of form will go very close. Main danger Grand Opera has run with credit both times and could have come up against a very nice type on his latest run when third to Silent Times at York. Of the new comers Distinctly Jim and Ruby Rumble are worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Zaal.
