      Verdict

      This looks a tight little handicap though it's tough to make a case for Hot Rod Mamma, who didn't appear to stay 1m4f at York in June. Getabuzz has plenty of stamina, however, and is in good form having finished third at Doncaster 11 days ago. But Tim Easterby's stayer may struggle to confirm earlier Town Moor running with ROYAL SWAIN, who has every chance here if reproducing his best being only a pound higher than his last winning mark. It would be no surprise to see Samarkand come back to form either while Ukrainian won at Ayr before finishing third at Brighton, though it's interesting to see that Joe Fanning is partnering lightly-raced stablemate Red Orator instead. Luctor Emergo rattled up a hat-trick at Ayr last month but has had his limitations exposed since.
