Verdict

CLONDAW KAEMPFER makes his chasing debut after a recent second over hurdles at Bangor. He's a half-brother to a winning chaser and is preferred to Ifandbutwhynot. The latter shares a similar rating to the selection over timber but was well beaten over these fences when favourite on his chasing bow. Forward Flight was also sent off favourite for his first foray over the larger obstacles but got no further than the first fence while Yorkist posted a decent effort on his chase debut when runner-up at Wetherby and may figure.
