        Verdict

        There wouldn’t be a lot between most of these. Retirement Beckons beat Turbo Command at Ayr two runs ago but the placings were reversed at the same track 10 days later. Josiebond is only a pound higher than when scoring at Beverley in June while War Defender has been edging closer to a first win on Turf but was behind BULLS AYE on similar terms at Musselburgh last month. Dominic Hislop is having a first ride under Rules on the top weight so can claim 7lb and he has ridden a winner between the flags. Precedent can also figure dropping back in trip while Shahnaz is a previous course and distance winner.
