      Verdict

      LIFFEYDALE DREAMER beat Aptly Put by over 7l when first and third here last month and can confirm placings at the revised weights. She came home strongly that day, has handled the idiosyncrasies of Cartmel well the last twice and has scope for further progress at the age of six. Aptly Put should go well again for his local team and Catchmeifyoucan was back to winning ways quite comfortably at Uttoxeter last time. She's a contender but her 7lb penalty may just prove a bridge too far. The veteran, Ever So Much, took a couple of runs to get settled this term but has since put together a creditable run of form and the course and distance winner cannot be ruled out.
