Verdict
Swaledale Lad is almost certain to develop in a tough and consistent chaser for connections and the course and distance winner is a worthy topweight but may struggle to concede 19lb to TEENAGE DREAM who won here in May and has gone well over fences on each of his last three runs. He'll be well suited by the return to this trip and enjoys quick conditions. Another course and distance winner, Sergeant Pink, was much better last time and will be dangerous under James Reveley if back to his best but Groomed is a likelier shortlist alternative. He too has his conditions and has become a useful, reliable and consistent handicap chaser for Sue Smith. Dunowen Point will need to improve considerably on recent efforts to contend off his current mark.
