Verdict
This is one of the more valuable races run on this track through the year. Cool Sky is interesting with his yard going well, though disappointed on the Flat lately. Dovils Date also represents an in-form stable and has been going well while Dianne Sayer runs two. The mare Cool Baranca and the four-year-old Gold Chain are previous course and distance winners. James Moffatt is another doubly represented with jockey booking suggesting Smart Ruler is preferred to Captain Brown. Discovery Bay and the returning Kitchapoly are also worth a second look but we'll take a chance on KASHMIR PEAK. He was a Grade 2 winner back in 2012 and ran a lot better than the final result suggests at Bangor last month - John Quinn's charge is starting to look well treated.
