    Verdict

This final race on the card appears to be a match between Flintoff and Cody and we will go with the first named, Aba Gold may be the one booked for third. Richard Guest's four-year-old displayed plenty of ability in bumpers before making an impressive hurdles debut at Towcester. He was very green, running in snatches, but still managed to beat the Pipe trained Auntie Kathleen by ten lengths. The experience will not be lost on him and he can follow up this afternoon. Cody was second to Tickateal in a Sedgefield handicap last time off a mark of 78. That is hardly devastating form but in this company it entitles him to plenty of respect. Aba Gold has shown a little ability and should come out best of the others, but Flintoff should have too much class for these and gets the nod
