Verdict

It appears DEFINITE DAWN need only jump round to be successful here. Tim Vaughan's gelding stepped up on his debut over fences when a close-up second to Cottage Oak at Perth five days ago and shouldn't be troubled by this lesser opposition. Winning pointer Ballinacubby Lass could be the one for forecast-backers as she ran well over hurdles at Southwell earlier this month and is likely to see out this trip better than the exposed Cengiz and Night Force, who reappears after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
