Verdict

Lord Wishes has won over fences but has a better record over hurdles with his latest win coming over the smaller obstacles at Hexham. Morning Royalty was a very easy winner over course and distance last month. He's been hit with a 12lb rise but will go close if in the same form. However, MINELLA PRESENT also arrives off the back of a victory and, apart from in a Grade 3 at the Grand National meeting at Aintree, has proved very consistent in chases – he can win again. Carrigmorna King needs some help from the handicapper and Desert Cry disappointed when last seen over fences. Alderbrook Lad looks to have lost his way.
