In depth
Verdict
Orpen Wide gets the confident vote here with Pseudonym and Madge rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Elersile Tom and although having a penalty for that win he won with plenty in hand and he is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that suit. Pseudonym rates the main danger on his best form but he has had problems with his breathing in the past and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Madge was a fair third behind Cinema but he finds little off the bridle and again he looks vulnerable. Of the remainder Simply St Lucia is unexposed over hurdles and is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to Orpen Wide who sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
