In depth

Verdict

Ronsard can win again with Toparudi and Silver Mont both worth noting. The selection came back to winning ways at Bath in an amateur riders event over and extended two miles and the very next day ran second on the turf at Lingfield over a similar trip. He carries a six pound penalty for his troubles but still looks potentially well treated and with the yard in such good form he can win again. Toparudi will pose as the biggest danger having caught the eye when second to Rocknest Island at Newcastle last time out. Conditions should suit so he is one to note. As is Silver Mont who carries a penalty for winning at Southwell last time out but will have more on his plate this time around. So for the winner we return to Ronsard.
