Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Even by selling standards this is pretty awful and Mujinda is suggested to get the better of Whitcombe Flyer and Ghafeer. The selection has at least managed to win a seller a couple of starts ago at Wolverhampton and failed to cope with the drop back to the minimum trip last time. She should be racing at her optimum trip here, though previous tries over it have provided little inspiration. However, decidedly moderate though her abilities are, Mel Brittain's runners are not in bad nick and at these weights she has as good a chance as anything. Whitcombe Flyer ran second to Copperbottomed over this trip at Southwell last month and that represents pretty good form in context here so he can go close. Ghafeer drops into a seller for the first time and some of his form in maidens would give her a decent chance, but she has got a fair bit to prove after three poor runs in succession. Brian Ellison's yard is having winners though and he is not dismissed lightly. Mister Always is not favoured at the weights here but he acts on a sound surface on turf and does hold his form relatively well for one at this level, so he may prove best of the rest, though our suggestion for the winner here is Mujinda.
