      Verdict

      It was soft ground at York when CONSEQUENCES finished runner-up on his debut. David O’Meara’s colt can come out best today with a similar effort if proving as effective on this faster surface. Pursuing The Dream finished closer at Goodwood on her latest start while Shay C is steadily improving but needs more to figure in this. W G Grace has a middle-distance pedigree on his dam’s side and Cobbler Quinn is preferred of the newcomers.
