Verdict
A big weight makes life tough for Minster Glory in his bid for the five-timer but he is obviously thriving on his racing at the moment and can continue on his merry way at the main expense of the unexposed Brown Teddy and Gunshot High here. The Mick Easterby-trained selection acts on any ground and has responds well for Geno Carenza in a couple of similar events recently. Last season's champion amateur, the 6ft 2in-tall Carenza is an excellent judge of pace and can utilize his skill in the saddle to guide his mount to a very respectable seventeenth career win if all goes to plan this afternoon. Winter Man has a little to prove on his Irish form and is passed over until he shows signs of a return to form. So Brown Teddy, winner of a lady riders handicap at Huntingdon in March, is fancied to give Minster Glory the most to do.
