Verdict

Princess Ombu has shown very little to date while the front-running Silver Duke has been weakening rapidly in the closing stages of his races. Donald McCain's French import Amirli is interesting having shown decent form at Longchamp and John Quinn will get a tune out of Ripon winner Bold Captain, who is just the type he does so well with. The Settrington-based handler also run dual Flat winner Scrafton, who looks more of a staying type so this should go to TOP OF THE GLAS. Brian Ellison's charge, who has won three times on the Flat, pulled too hard on his hurdling debut then made mistakes at Wetherby last week. He'll be suited by this longer trip and should add to his winning tally.
