Verdict

Barber Of Seville sports the Godolphin first colours ahead of Future Vision, who disappointed last time at Wolverhampton. John Gosden’s gelding steps up on previous efforts when fourth at Yarmouth and the yard has a goods strike-rate here with its juveniles but CAPTAIN MAGNUM is preferred. Placed twice over 6f at Ayr, the extra furlong here should be no problem for Archie Watson’s colt. Sonderbar pulled hard when second at Ayr but will have learned from the experience but newcomers Amal and Speed Of Life are probably best watched and York fifth Possible Ambition may already need a mile.
