      Verdict

      A likely strong pace should set this race up nicely for Patricia Philomena, and she is fancied to notch up her third win of the season; Toni Alcala and Cantrip look to be best of the rest. The latter is in good form and will like the return to 14 furlongs. However, George Duffield's mount might not get her own way up front with River Of Fire in the field, and they may just set this race up for the likes of Toni Alcala and Patricia Philomena. The former is a relatively consistent sort who is expected to go close if repeating his recent third at Musselburgh, but Patricia Philomena is just preferred. David Barron's filly is an improving five-year-old who has two wins this term at around this trip. She should appreciate the likely strong pace here and can defy a 6lb penalty for her latest success at Carlisle.
