Verdict

BLAZING BULL was doing his best work at the finish over 3m at Musselburgh last month. With John Dawson claiming 7lb, John Wade's nine-year-old is probably the one to beat over this longer trip. D'Gigi was placed here over hurdles and probably has more to offer over fences but Smart Act has questions to answer now after being pulled up at Ludlow and Hollins has managed to complete just one of four starts over fences here. Mystified was tried over this trip three times over hurdles but was well beaten on each occasion and probably has stamina issues.
