Verdict

THE GREY ZEBEDEE was having his first outing since May when placed over today’s trip at Musselburgh last week having slid down the weights. A chance is taken he acts on today’s softer ground. Sing Bertie is having only his third start on Turf having placed on the all-weather on several occasions while Optimickstickhill won at Ripon in June though both wins to date came on faster going. Dancing Mountain finished ahead of Racquet when runner-up at Thirsk and the latter had earlier finished behind Bluella over track and trip when Robyn Brisland’s charge also finished in front of Pearl Noir, Rockley Point and Furni Factors.
