NIGHT TRADE is taken to get the better of Love Match and Oondiri. The selection has slowly progressed with each of her runs to date and she posted her best effort yet at Kempton when she finished third behind Flesham. There should be more to come from her and it is worth noting she got squeezed for room at a crucial stage in that Kempton race. She has conditions to suit and a good draw and she is taken to open her account. Love Match would have claims on the pick of her form but she races over the minimum trip for the first time and she is bred to to suited over further than this. Oondiri has to be considered as she ran well in a competitive handicap at Redcar last month when she finished fourth behind On The Piste. However, she is more exposed than most of these and she has not been done any favours by the draw. Of the others, Vilnius recorded her sole success over this course and distance and she has failed to really go on from that. We will therefore stick with Night Trade as the pick.
