      Verdict

      Eijaaz was winning for the eighth time at this track when landing a similar event over C&D last month. He beat higher rated horses on that occasion and could go close to recording his third straight win in this contest. However, the weight-for-age allowance of CROFTAMIE gives her every chance if forgiven a below par effort on soft ground last time. Mark Johnston's filly can score here with a repeat of her earlier sixth in a decent maiden on the Polytrack. Chookie Hamilton looks best of the remainder dropped in class as the rest have a stack to find at the weights.
