In depth

Verdict

Tan Bonita showed promise on his debut at Windsor last month and has to be respected but Mark Wallace's filly may not represent much in the way of value and preference is for Myriola, with Speedy Senorita rated the most interesting of the newcomers. The selection found Pontefract's five furlongs too stiff on her debut last month when weakening inside the final furlong and she should appreciate this easier track. James Given has his string in fine form at present and the daughter of Captain Rio is taken to open her account today. Destinys Dream is bred to appreciate further in the fullness of time, while Style Award may also do better over further. Speedy Senorita is bred more for speed than most of the newcomers and has to be of interest but Myriola should be suited by this track and gets the vote to give James Given another winner.
