Verdict
Deben and Goadby finished runner-up in their respective divisions of the same handicap here last time with the former preferred on today’s faster going. Jazz Legend finally won a handicap when successful at Leicester recently while Rose Eclair showed signs of a resurgence when second at Redcar. But MELANIEMILLIE has gone close over 7f the last twice now and led a couple of furlongs out on both occasions. Ruth Carr’s filly will appreciate the return to today’s shorter trip and gets the vote.
