      Verdict

Canford Bay returns to this venue for the first time since winning here in July with Alsvinder back in fifth while Thegreatestshowman has been thereabouts without winning and he gets a change of headgear though his best efforts have been on fast ground. Dark Shot is penalised having ended a long losing run with victory at Southwell last week but should go well again though FOX HILL is the more progressive. The four-year-old has placed on several occasions since scoring at Thirsk in June and looks capable of winning again off his current mark.
